Solving Word Problems
Teaching students how to solve word problems is challenging as they often struggle to determine the correct operation to use. However, solving word problems is a standard that students are introduced to as early as kindergarten and gets increasingly more challenging as they continue throughout their years of schooling. In this video I share problem solving techniques that are sure to provide teachers and parents with a guide on how to equip their learners with skills to successfully solve word problems independently.
This video is Part 1 of a word problem solving series, so stayed tuned for new releases. In my next video I will share how to help students distinguish between addition and subtraction word problems.
